Wedding: Mr. and Mrs. Leja

Wedding

Greg and Kim Leja

Greg and Kim got married on 10.10.10 in Gatlinburg, TN. And let me tell you this bridal party was so energetic and fun that it made my job so fun! I think that it is safe to say that this is one of my favorite weddings.

They opted to see each other before the wedding
and I must say this is my preference. They were
glowing the entire day. They just couldn't stop smiling.
This is the infamous bridal party!
And the gorgeousness begins!
They were both working it. I mean look at that awesomeness.
They are just glowing!
They were so photogenic... THANK YOU!
For the next few images my view is on the left and Tyler's view on the right.
It's getting a little steamy.
Possibly one of my favorites from the day!
Here is another set of my view on the left and Tyler's on the right.
Kim gave Greg a key before the ceremony.
She told me that this was a tradition in her family
and it meant she was giving Greg the key to her heart.
Kim is just gorgeous... really!
Her portraits just blew me away.
Fierce!
This one so simple and elegant.
Greg your awesome!
This is a classic shot we always get... the men tackling Greg!
Now let me just say that this ceremony location was phenomenal.
The lighting was changing so fast and I was loving every minute of it.
How adorable is she?!
I was loving the sun rays!
We got a few more of them right after and the light was just perfect.
So Kim and Greg wanted to stop at a little pub
on the way to the reception and grab a beer.
There just happen to be a small pub in the back hills
of Gatlinburg that we stopped at. It was a blast, as you can see.
Kim just loved this old beat up house that was
next to the pub and well you know me we just had to get a pic!
And the right before we walked into the reception Kim
and Greg pulled me out back to this awesome bridge over a
stream. And well it speaks for itself.
And the party begins...
Fun Fact... Tyler is a DJ. While I photographed the
reception he was the man behind the music.
Kim's 82 year old grandpa and 87 year old grandma
were even out on the dance floor. That's how
fun this reception was. Great DJing Tyler!

Thanks to Greg and Kim for one awesome day!
You are the reason we love our job so much!

Congratulation on your new life together! I cant wait to see your babies one day!

"Where's Tyler"

Where's Tyler?
------------------------------
So this is hilarious, every wedding we shoot Tyler just seems to have the "Where's Waldo" effect. He just pops up all over. We die laughing when we are reviewing a shoot and he is just hidden somewhere in the shot just like Waldo. So this is just the first of many to come, of the Where's Tyler blog posts...

Everyone is smiling but there is just something a little off...

What a precious moment... right!? Where's Tyler?
This one really gets me laughing out loud!

Kim and Greg are just the sweetest couple and I think you can see it in the pictures.

They had a destination wedding in Gatlinburg, TN. In this awesome garden in the back hills of TN. They chartered a bus to get to all the different locations throughout the day. It was fun.

A Sneak Peek: Enochs

So I love doing sneak peeks. If you don't know what it is, it is really a photographer (like myself) that cant hold in their joy about how excited they are to show the client and the world some pretty sweet pictures. Yes I usually always get a picture or two as soon as I can after a shoot. Its like christmas or someones birthday, if I get someone a gift that I just am stoked about I can hardly hold it in. I always spill the beans. I cant hold those kind of feelings in. Its too much.

So like my norm here is a SNEAK PEEK from todays photo session with Will and Alicia Enochs. They have been married nearly 2 years and are some of our best friends. But because of my quick to post sneak peeks, it will be about a week or so before I can post more pictures but I think this will give you a good tease to draw you back to see more late.

They are such a great couple. And they can take a darn good photo.

Alicia is just beautiful.

Work Work Work... FUN!

So we have a destination wedding this weekend! No, it's not in FL or on some exotic island but the exciting Gatlinburg, TN. We are pretty excited about it. Its going to be a whole lot of work because we are photographing the wedding but we are also DJing the reception.
Now you may be wondering at this point "what?!? DJing?" Since high school, Tyler starting to DJing all the dancing and then he just started his own business called Dominion Entertainment. So because we are both in the "wedding business", there are many weddings that we are both doing our thing. Luckily he can still be my second shooter for most of the wedding until the reception begins.
So this week, I start to get fired up. I start to have dream about poses and I spend plenty of time to looking at other photographers (2 of my favorites: Jasmine Star & Jamie Delanie) They give me great inspiration! I also will charge all of our equipment-> 2 camera, flash batteries, and our lap top. I also clean all of our lenses really well. Then I sit down and really pick out some specific poses that Im going to want to do for the day. This is when I start to feel the creative juices flowing!
Photo's to come...

But for now here are some pics of Tyler and I at work!

We Love our job!
I love seeing him work... he is so cute!

Have a great week!
