Robson Family

Robson Family

I must say this shoot was fun, challenging, and so memorable. I learned a lot! I have done many family shoots as well as children shoots, but never two 1 year old twins. But I love a challenge. I can proudly say that I am so excited to share these images with you! I cant imagine how these could have turned out any better. Thank you to Ian and Deborah for letting me take pictures of your sweet family!

These small toy basketballs were what kept the sanity.
Lesson: bring a simple toy to entertain the kids while shooting.
Can you tell them apart? I can't! Meet Ty and Micah.
This is just precious! Look at those faces. There was a dog
two yards away and they were looking at the dog... not me.
Lesson... find something to occupy their attention behind me.
Sweet moments like these are the ones I just love capturing.
Lesson: Let them do their thing. Just keep shooting because
you never know what they are gonna do!
Lesson: Carry with you a small snack, like animal crackers.
When they start to get fussy or tired this can buy you some time.
You know I had to get Ian and Deborah by themselves.
You can just see the love!

Note: Put the kids on a blanket with the animal crackers
and steal these shots of mom and dad.
And well she is beautiful, so I had to steal a few of just her.

Thanks for check CPP out!

Wedding: Mr. and Mrs. Leja

Wedding

Greg and Kim Leja

Greg and Kim got married on 10.10.10 in Gatlinburg, TN. And let me tell you this bridal party was so energetic and fun that it made my job so fun! I think that it is safe to say that this is one of my favorite weddings.

They opted to see each other before the wedding
and I must say this is my preference. They were
glowing the entire day. They just couldn't stop smiling.
This is the infamous bridal party!
And the gorgeousness begins!
They were both working it. I mean look at that awesomeness.
They are just glowing!
They were so photogenic... THANK YOU!
For the next few images my view is on the left and Tyler's view on the right.
It's getting a little steamy.
Possibly one of my favorites from the day!
Here is another set of my view on the left and Tyler's on the right.
Kim gave Greg a key before the ceremony.
She told me that this was a tradition in her family
and it meant she was giving Greg the key to her heart.
Kim is just gorgeous... really!
Her portraits just blew me away.
Fierce!
This one so simple and elegant.
Greg your awesome!
This is a classic shot we always get... the men tackling Greg!
Now let me just say that this ceremony location was phenomenal.
The lighting was changing so fast and I was loving every minute of it.
How adorable is she?!
I was loving the sun rays!
We got a few more of them right after and the light was just perfect.
So Kim and Greg wanted to stop at a little pub
on the way to the reception and grab a beer.
There just happen to be a small pub in the back hills
of Gatlinburg that we stopped at. It was a blast, as you can see.
Kim just loved this old beat up house that was
next to the pub and well you know me we just had to get a pic!
And the right before we walked into the reception Kim
and Greg pulled me out back to this awesome bridge over a
stream. And well it speaks for itself.
And the party begins...
Fun Fact... Tyler is a DJ. While I photographed the
reception he was the man behind the music.
Kim's 82 year old grandpa and 87 year old grandma
were even out on the dance floor. That's how
fun this reception was. Great DJing Tyler!

Thanks to Greg and Kim for one awesome day!
You are the reason we love our job so much!

Congratulation on your new life together! I cant wait to see your babies one day!
